Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) for Voice Services

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) outlines the permitted and prohibited uses of Hello LLC’s voice services. All subscribers must agree to and abide by this policy before being granted access to our network.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all customers, users, and resellers utilizing our SIP trunking, hosted PBX, and Asterisk-based phone systems connected to Telnyx SIP services. Violations may result in service suspension, termination, and legal action.

3. Prohibited Activities

3.1. Illegal or Fraudulent Calls

• Originate, relay, or terminate robocalls, scam calls, or fraudulent calls.
• Falsify or manipulate Caller ID information (Caller ID spoofing) to misrepresent identity or deceive call recipients.
• Place calls that violate STIR/SHAKEN requirements or fail to meet FCC, FTC, or state telemarketing laws.
• Engage in traffic pumping schemes to inflate call volumes for financial gain.

3.2. Unsolicited Marketing & Robocalling

• Transmit unauthorized robocalls, spam, or marketing calls without proper consent under TCPA (Telephone Consumer Protection Act).
• Use auto-dialers, predictive dialers, or any system to initiate bulk calls without proper consent.

3.3. Harassment, Abuse, & Threats

• Make calls that involve harassment, threats, abuse, hate speech, or harm toward any individual or entity.
• Engage in DDoS (Denial-of-Service) attacks, call flooding, or repeated nuisance calls.

3.4. Network Abuse & Security Violations

• Attempt to bypass authentication, hack, or disrupt our voice services or those of third parties.
• Provide service access to unauthorized users or resell services without our written permission.
• Engage in call toll fraud, premium-rate fraud, or international revenue-sharing fraud (IRSF).

6. Monitoring & Enforcement

• We reserve the right to monitor call traffic, investigate violations, and block or terminate services.
• If a violation is suspected, we will notify the customer and may take action, including:
• Suspension of outbound calls
• Rate limiting
• Permanent termination of service
• Legal enforcement actions

7. Agreement & Acknowledgment

By using Hello LLC’s voice services, the customer acknowledges and agrees to comply with this AUP.
